Psychic Panda!!!

Image
Panda, what an endearing creature! (famous for the "Aww, so cute" moments😂) THEY HAVE GREAT CAMOUFLAGE FOR THEIR ENVIRONMENT.   Most of the panda - its face, neck, belly, rump - is white to help it hide in snowy habitats. The arms and legs are black, helping it to hide in shade.  THEIR EYES ARE DIFFERENT TO NORMAL BEARS. Like domestic cats, giant pandas have vertical slits for pupils. CUBS ARE WELL PROTECTED IN THEIR FIRST MONTH. At 5 months old, giant pandas learn how to climb - sometimes practicing by climbing on their mum.  They have an extended wrist bone that they use like a thumb to help them grip food. THEY SPEND A LOT OF THEIR DAY EATING (APPROXIMATELY 10-16 HOURS). THAT'S IT FOR TODAY!! KEEP READING!! ***********************************************************************************

Capacious Cats!!!

Image
Cat, what a furry creature! (know I got to know why people have allergies 😂) There are 38 species of cats on the planet. These big cats are among the most beloved and recognizable animals on the planet. Most big cats are members of the genus  Panthera .  Small and medium cats, including housecats, are member of  Felis .  Cheetahs, which do not have retractable claws, are in their own genus, called  Acinonyx . The main difference between big cats and most of their cousins is in the noises they make. They squeak, grunt, scream, and make several other sounds, thanks to a ligament in their voice boxes.  The lion’s roar is the most famous and can be heard up to five miles away because of the specialized structure of its vocal chords a characteristic it shares with the tiger. Lions are the only big cats that live in groups, called prides. THAT'S IT FOR TODAY!! KEEP READING!! ******************************************************************...

Passionate Peacock!!!

Image
Peacock, what an eye-catching creature! ( due to which, it is so lucky to be the National Bird of India😂)   The collective term for these birds is “peafowl.” The males are “peacocks” and the females are “peahens.” The babies are called “peachicks.” A group of the   birds is also sometimes called an “ostentation ,” a “muster ,” or even a “party .” THEY’RE NOT BORN WITH THEIR FANCY TAIL FEATHERS. THEY DON’T HAVE TO BE KILLED FOR THEIR FEATHERS. THEY CAN FLY, DESPITE THEIR MASSIVE TRAINS. THERE ARE ALL-WHITE PEAFOWL. THAT'S IT FOR TODAY!! ***********************************************************************************
